Welcome to Beartooth MTN Alaskan Malamutes

We are a small family kennel of purebred registered Alaskan Malamute dogs. We are dedicated to the breed and are very passionate about preserving the best qualities of these amazing dogs.Currently we have two females and one male in our breeding program. Our dogs love people, and are gentle with children.

We raise incredibly beautiful, and majestic Alaskan Malamute dogs with excellent health, temperament and bone structure. Alaskan Malamutes are the most loving, loyal and intelligent dogs you will find. Once you experience them you will be hooked for life! I met an Alaskan Malamute dog ten years ago, it was love at first pet! I was amazed at the almost human like qualities of this dog and longed to have one of my own for over 10 years. I finally made that dream come true 3 years ago, and I became so dedicated to the breed that I started our Malamute family so that the good people of the Wyoming and Montana area (we do ship to anywhere in the US) could fall in love with these dogs as well.

My children and I handle and play with our puppies daily so they are well socialized. Our dogs are very healthy and have a big yard to play in and take daily walks with the family. They are our constant companions when hiking in the mountains as they help protect us by alerting us to other wildlife (like bears and wolves). Our dogs pull carts and sleds and help ensure that our excursions in nature are filled with lots of furry fun!

Magenta or Dam pictured above is a stunninly beautiful dog with amazing intelligence. She is from a sire who is of a giant size. She weighs 125 lbs. Her puppies will be large weighing around 90 to 125 lbs. She is a natural at pulling sleds and kids in a cart.

Our Current litters are UKC registered. Thor, Maximus and Magenta are all dual AKC and UKC registered. Scarlett is UKC registered. We prefer to register the puppy litters with the UKC. The UKC - United Kennel Club - are the pioneers in DNA testing to verify pedigrees. They have a club wide code of ethics, printed on every registration form, that helps discourage retail sale of pups, as well as other pro-dog rules and guidelines.  In my opinion, this is the #1 kennel club/registry for operating in the best interest of dogs.

Alaskan Malamutes are very kind, loving, affectionate and loyal Dogs. They need a lot of exercise and should not be kept in a small pen for long periods of time. They are not a good pet for small apartment living.
